Further work included performing sheetmetal repairs on rusted areas, overhauling the air conditioning system, installing a Rough Country 4″ suspension lift kit and Bluetooth-capable JVC stereo, and replacing the carpeting, bumpers, and other various exterior trim pieces. Power comes from a 5. 7-liter V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case, and the truck rides on 15″ five-hole wheels mounted with 35″ BFGoodrich tires. Additional equipment includes a stainless-steel exhaust system, a black removable hardtop, a receiver hitch, tubular chrome side steps, and front bucket seats upholstered in gray cloth as well as power-operated windows, mirrors, and locks. The grille and stainless-steel panel on the tailgate were also replaced along with the headlight lenses, taillights, and marker lights. The black removable hardtop features sliding side windows, and additional exterior details include red pinstripes, tubular chrome side steps, a power-sliding rear window, and a receiver hitch. The five-hole 15″ steel wheels feature finned hubcaps and bright trim rings and are mounted with 35×12. 50″ BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires. A full-size spare is secured in the cargo area. A Rough Country 4″ suspension lift kit has been installed and braking is handled by front discs and anti-lock rear drums.
